CHALLENGE:

The sudden outbreak of COVID-19 has
large impact on travel agencies. Due to restrictions on travel, the customers
cancelled many bookings and agency had to arrange a proper resolution for all
outstanding bookings.

SOLUTION:

To relieve the burden on staff and to
adhere to the SLA, the agency employed DataKedge who, in a short span of time
developed an automation solution using software robots. The automation
processes the request and cancels the ticket according to a set of predefined
business rules and initiates the refund accordingly.

The automation is built to scale
up/down during peaks in cancellation requests by simply adding/removing robots.
